Significant Accomplishments

  • President of Overseas Adventure Travel the #1 growth brand for the company.  Oversaw all aspects of Marketing, Public Relations, and Channel Marketing (Print, Web, Email, Direct Sales)

  • As EVP of New Customer Acquisition Channel in 2013, under my leadership, this channel achieved highest performance levels since 2007.  In 2014, the New Customer Acquisition Channel outpaced overall company growth by 25%

  • Oversaw the Marketing, Circulation and Planning organizations during the biggest growth period in company history - growing sales from $188 Million in 1999 to approx $700 Million in 2008.  EBITDA Profit growth from $4 Million to $60 Million during this period.

  • Led the development and growth of company’s alternate sales distribution channels from 2004 to 2009.  During this time revenues from these alternate channels increased from $40 Million (10% of total company revenues), to $240 Million in 2008 (30% of total company revenues), outpacing all other channels by 200%

  • Developed Customer Lifetime Value model to guide both day-to-day company investment decisions, as well as long-term strategic investment decisions.

  • Led the strategic re-design of the company’s websites in 2011, including the development web analytics, targeted marketing strategies and lead generation programs

  • Developed the company’s “customer sales event” channel.  Responsible for the planning and execution of 140 sales events and presentations throughout the US.  During the period of 2008-2011, this channel was responsible for 15% ($40M) of all company sales, with a $2.25M annual operating budget.

Board of Trustee – Treasurer, Strategic Planning & H.R. Committees

  • As Treasurer (’04-09), led the turnaround from three straight years of operating losses, to a positive annual cash flow every year since taking on this position.  This turnaround enabled the school to renew its’ charter with the City of Boston.  Additionally, the improved financial stability allowed the school to build a new 25,000 square foot facility.  City On A Hill is now considered one of the leading Charter schools in the commonwealth of Mass.

  • 2012-2016, member of Strategic Planning and HR Committies, helped school receive state approval to expand from 1 school to 3, by 2015.

Other Volunteer Activities
